Many Feng Shui Consultants consider the kitchen as one of the most important rooms in the house, I would agree and add that there are TWO very important rooms in the house, the kitchen and the bedroom .

The bedroom begins and ends your day. It is the place where you relax and recharge for the next day. Your body requires sleep to live. To live well you must also sleep well. However, the bedroom is so much more when we look at it from a Feng Shui perspective.

The bedroom is more than a place to sleep. For the homeowner, the master bedroom symbols and empowers a sense of who you are, where you want to be, your romantic life, your career, your overall sense of well being. There is a reason they call it the Master Suite, after all. For the children, the bedroom is restful, safe, supportive and encourages the love and support and the values your family members provide. Are you feeling this when you walk into your bedroom?

Energy of the Bedroom

Even though we can not see energy, we do feel it. Our furniture choice and placement and colors affect how we feel. We are constantly giving and receiving energy – even when we sleep. In fact, when we sleep our defenses are down and the energy flow is freer. Which begs the question, how do you feel when you walk into your room? Do you yearn to get to bedroom at the end of the day? Do you enjoy being in your bedroom? Do you merely walk into it and sleep without much thought and does it evoke an instant sense of relaxation? How you feel in the bedroom when you are awake is a clue about how you are recharging when you are sleep.

Some general guidelines to follow for the bedroom:

  • Bed placement should allow a commanding view of the bedroom – ensuring you are never surprised when someone walks into your room. Usually, the longest wall is the best placement for the bed.
  • A foot board or bench at the end of a bed slows the energy coming toward the bed.
  • Surround your bed with a strong and solid headboard, nightstands and a foot board or bench. This gives you a sense of being “held” and supported.
  • Ensure that your room is quiet and dark at night to enhance good sleep.
  • Make the last thing you see before turning out the lights (and the first thing you see when you wake up) something beautiful.
  • Remove the TV. A television tends to give off negative energy (news, crime shows, commercials about depression and weight issues, etc …). It invites too many virtual people into your bedroom.
  • Keep drawers shut and all doors closed.
  • Keep the bedroom clean and clutter free. Nightstands should have minimal decor. If you can, avoid storing items under your bed.

These tips are a good foundation for any bedroom. There are more specific techniques depending on where you are in life. For example, techniques for a master bedroom will be different than a child's room. Techniques for a master bedroom for a single person will be different than techniques for a couple. A Feng Shui practitioner can help you with more specific techniques based on your life experiences and your desires.

Finally, because energy is rooted in feeling, if any guidelines do not feel right to you, you can easily not do them. However, before you brush away what does not feel good, sometimes look into why it does not feel good. Is the uncomfortable feeling a signal about something else? I always recommend trying something for a few days to see how you feel (you can always put it back). In many cases, you will be surprised about what you learn about yourself. When you feel improvement, you know you are on the right path.

Enhance Your Feng Shui With Color

Color does more than just please or dispose the eye. It also plays an important part when it comes to affecting our moods. Color is a part of all sorts of surroundings. It can bring harmony and energy in a room, and take it away as well, depending on the color scheme. What do you feel when you see a warm yellow patch of sunshine? How about the emotions that stirs up inside of you when you see a deep red rose? What is the experience after seeing the serenity of a cloudy blue sky?

When you properly apply the techniques of feng shui with color, you will surely create a more harmonious environment that evokes a positive vibe for you and those who share the surroundings with you. Somehow, even if you are unaware of it, you are quite attracted to bright colors.

However, this does not mean that you should have an excessive use of bright colors. Say, for example, you love the color red since it evokes passion and confidence, but it can also incite fury. Too much use of one particular color can destroy the energy in the room. That is why you need to apply the techniques of feng shui to find that balance and create a desirable effect.

According to feng shui, you need to make use of both yin and yang colors in the correct spots, because this will lead to the right balance and create a positive vibe. You will make the most of the space and enjoy a harmonious blend of colors. By making use of the Five Elements Theory, harmony and balance in the home can start with the right use of colors. The Five Elements Theory is based on the five elements: Water, Fire, Metal, Earth and Wood. The Bagua Map will guide you as to which color you should use in particular areas. Through these areas, you will find out which part of the home you can perform particular tasks so that you can enhance your life.

The Yin Colors are all about collective coolness, and having them in a particular part of the house will give you quiet kind of confidence. Having these colors as the central part of a room can best be used in places where you want to relax and contemplate.

-Blue evokes calmness, honesty, peace, trust, kindness, and truth.
-Green bolsters harmony, nature, balance and acceptance.
-Pink is all about innocence, flirtatiousness, love, and beauty.
-Black symbolizes emotional protection, stability, money, power and income.
-Purple kindles imagination, intuition, magic, and mystery.
-White symbolizes purity, cleanliness, goodness, and confidence.

Next, we'll take a look at the Yang Colors, which symbolize positive energy, and will prep you up for what's to come. These colors are best in places where you want action.

-Brown evokes simplicity, order, the earth, and work.
-Red is all about money, protection, joy, luck, courage, and action.
-Yellow bolsters happiness, wisdom, and fun.
-Orange kindles energy, optimism, endurance, and inspiration.

Attract the kind of energy you want into your home with these feng shui colors. They provide a brand new change from the traditional color schemes you have in your home while encouraging all kinds of positive energies at the same time.

House Harmonizing with Sacred Geometry

SACRED GEOMETRY

Is the earth measure; It is about measuring the projection of the sun onto the earth. By using the ancient measurements around the house we can create total harmony. We can use earth acupuncture to hold these points with rocks or triskels buried into the earth. Triskels neutralize EMF and raise vibration.

We place them in 4 points around the house and in 3 places inside the house. Triskels are energy wheels that create a vortex and when place on sacred points it takes the energy underneath the house and transforms and balances the energy. They are a shape found in many traditions (Celtic, Hindu, Japanese, Chinese, Middle Eastern and Native American)

How do they function to clear a house?

They are energy converters; you need the sacred measurements underneath for it to work. The stronger energy underneath it creates an equal strength in balancing.

Once you have your 3 triskels up you will get a special structure that appears called a triple enclosure; this will surround the outside of the house. The three first ones are inside the auras.

After the clearing anything that left can not come back. This is how sacred places were protected.

House Clearing, Space Clearing & Feng Shui

are practices of techniques, ancient and modern, that effect change in the environment of our home, workplace and self. House Clearing is practical magic. It is the study of how to insure the healthy circulation of energy through these environments in order to increase our vitality and health, improve our mental attitude, stimulate creativity and productivity, improve our relationships and gain clarity and insight. The most effective way to use House Clearing is to know exactly what you want to accomplish, to be clear about your intentions. You can use these ancient arts and sciences to their maximum benefits through the power of intention. Where intention goes – energy flows.

Space clearing is used to break up any stagnant energy within the home, refresh it, stabilize it and infuse it with your intentions. Here are some practical examples of space clearing that could have considered a vital part of uplifting the chi (energy) of your home.

Space Clearing is a ritual found in almost every traditional or native culture in the world. It is a powerful skill that enables the practitioner to change the atmosphere of the home from one of stagnant energy to one of vibrant health, promoting and spiritually energy enhancing. In traditional cultures, space clearing, or having your home blessed, has always been considered a vital activity when moving into a new home. Typically, when the body's own energy becomes acutely stagnant, symptoms develop including irritability, tiredness, lack of enthusiasm or stamina, and depression.

Space Clearing / House & Land Ceremonies

Most clearings and ceremonies can be done in 2-3 hours, depending on the size of the house or business. If your home or business is more than 3000 square feet, it is a good idea for us to talk about what specific problems and conditions may be in your space and we can estimate how much time it may take.â € ¨
When You need Space Clearing

1. Clearing the Predecessor Energy
When you move into a new home or office, it is important to consider who occupied the space before you and what has occurred there. Their health, happiness, and chi have all affected the space. Even if the new home is stripped bare of all the furnishings, the patterns of their chi will still remain. This predecessor chi will be strongest where they slept, where they sat, and along the 'pathways' that they created as they walked around the rooms.

There will also be parts of a room or the home that they may not have used for various reasons. This could have a bedroom or a corner of a room where a piece of furniture stood hiding a corner, thereby not allowing chi to circulate easily. They may have unconsciously reacted to an existing stagnation or contributed to it in their use. Establishing a healthy circulation of chi through the home is imperative for your health on all levels.

2. After Physical or Psychological Illness
If you or someone in your home has been ill for a reasonable period, the vibration of the home will be affected. When someone is seriously ill at home, the daily routine is affected. The occupants' social life is often inhibited and there is an atmosphere of stillness, quietness and nervous apprehension. For the person who has been ill, there may have been suffering, pain and anxiety. For the occupants who share the space, their energy naturally becomes more subdued. Space clearing after physical or psychological illness will unduly improve the chi of the home and set the tone for a fresh, bright future.

3. After Big Life Changes
Stress from today's hectic lifestyle can affect all of us. The most powerful causes of 'dis-stress' include divorce, bereavement, end of a relationship, and loss of a job or change of career. Once we have come to terms with our grief, frustration or anger, it is time to move on. Rather than living in an atmosphere of chi that is charged by the past, it is important, when appropriate, to clear the old and move forward.

4. After Conflict in the Home
Burglary or, worse, assault in your home creates an atmosphere of chi that needs to be cleared. The space has been violated and many people report feeling uncomfortable when entering their home after such an event. On a lesser level, if you have had violent arguments within the home recently, these have unduly left their mark on the atmosphere. Constant bickering and fighting for months or years on end allows this negative chi to see into the space and create an atmosphere that supports further disharmony.

What is involved in a session?

There are as many different methods of Space Clearing as there are cultures in the world. The rituals that have been used include the use of herbs, chants, potions, symbolism, spiritual ceremonies, blessings, sacrifices, gifts, fruits, plants, and holy water. Sometimes, the timing of the event to coincide with the planets or moon cycles strengthens the effect. Space clearing can be drawn from Native American traditions, Celtic ceremonies, early Christian rituals or Balinese methods; but an exploration of your ancestral traditions may be the best course of action for you.

Clearing With Dragons Blood

Dragon's blood also has many mystical and spiritual ritual applications and can be used for purposes of enhancing mental science, magic (including mind magic), space clearing, and purification.

It also fosters and promotes good luck, success, love (even useful to return a former lover to you if you desire this), and protection (from negative energy and spirits). It has very strong money drawing and love-drawing properties. The resin is actually more powerful than Sage and nothing clears stagnant and negative energy from a home better than Dragon's Blood. Actually, it is best to alternate between Sage and Dragon's Blood when clearing energy.

The best way to clear one's home (of negative energy and / or unwanted entities) is to pour sea salt onto a plate in the form of a pile, like a little mountain. Make a hole in the middle of the pile and place Dragon's Blood powder or incense pieces in the hole. Set the Dragon's Blood ablaze (with fire) so as to cause it to smoke and walk from the back of the house, room by room (setting your intention), to the front entrance door of the home. Make sure you actually go outside of the front door. There you can put out the smoke.

In the case of negative spirits or entities, one's intention should be a strong and clear demand for the entity to leave the house completely due to it being unwanted. Smoke alters vibration as well as affects it, even on the etheric plane of existence which is the plane of ghosts (Earthbound spirits) and other entities including poltergeists (angry and belligerent ghosts).

If you can not find incense resin pieces of Dragon's Blood, the incense (on a stick) kind can suffice. If you are dealing with strong negative energy or evil entities, burn a combination of Dragon's Blood, Sage, Lavender, White Copal, Frankincense, and Myrrh daily.

Also, place black colored crystals, ie Black Tourmaline, Jet, Obsidian, etc., in the room or home to be exorcised as well as stones / crystals of Amethyst, Celestite, Selenite, and Angelite.

Selenite grids are highly recommended for rooms as well as the entire house. Place Selenite sticks in every corner of a room and / or home. Corners serve as an entryway (or entrance) and / or portal for spirits, negative and positive. This is why a lot of people, especially children, see things in the corner of a room.

Dragon's Blood is a plant of attraction. It helps to attract success, romance and love, good luck (facilitates good karma), wealth and riches (including money). It also promotes fertility, especially in females.

A piece can be placed in one's Love corner of the home (along with pink-colored stones) to attract and foster love and romance, as well as placed in one's Wealth or Money corner of the home (along with green colored crystals and other gemstones associated with wealth, abundance, and prosperity) to attract material wealth and money.

Dragons Blood Clearing

History in a space, whether rented or owned, tends to repeat itself. Make the space your own by removing patterns, thought forms, belief systems, entities and the irk of the former occupants. Historic buildings have generations of the past to remove, but even the patterns of construction workers on a new building are important to eliminate.

Materials Needed:

1.) Dragon's Blood resin, Frankincense resin, and Myrrh resin
2.) Charcoal used for resin incense burning
3.) Aluminum pie pans (one for each “station”)
4) Disposable lighters.

Note: All these incense resins come in little packets and are filled with chunks of colored blocks about the size of a small pebble.

The Ritual: It is recommend getting help from a spouse and / or friends when doing this deep cleaning. Not only is it less overwhelming, but feedback from clients confirm that the cleaning is more effective when done with at least another. Better yet, have a “Space Clearing Party.” Create a feeling of fun as well as success-invite a few of your friends over for the purification ritual of your environment! Pay them back with pizzas and drinks in your new, improved feeling lodging!

1. Create multiple stations for incense burners. An inexpensive but entirely effective station is made by getting an aluminum pie pan and filling it to the top with sand or dirt. Put one of the charcoal disks in the center of the pan on top of the dirt. Place this makeshift incense burner on an everyday plate, then the whole thing is placed on an oven mitt. Put it on the floor in any room or on top of a table. Be very careful and safe! The charcoal burns very hot !!! Make sure that you have enough stations so that every square inch of area can receive the smoke of the Dragon's Blood. Putting a station in every room is not necessary but exercise your intuition on how many stations you need to create. This is not the time to be conservative.

2. Open up at least one or more windows and / or a door leading to the outside in each room. If a room does not have an outside evacuation, make sure that connecting rooms which do have outside windows and / or door are properly opened.

3. Open up all doors in each room of space, including closet doors, bathroom doors, toilet lids, the door to the oven, kitchen cabinets, and so on. The Dragon's Blood smoke encourages all energies to remove themselves from the promises and because the front / back doors and windows are open, it gives these negative effects an exit.

4. Gather the resins together and visualize / imagine the clearing out of all negative effects and the positive, peaceful feelings this ritual will create for your space.

5. Light each charcoal on each station first. Hold the flame from a lighter under the disk until it starts to spark. You may wish to hold the disk with metal tongs to protect your fingers.

6. When you are sure each charcoal disk is staying lit, add about a thumbnail size amount of Dragon's Blood powder to each station (the hammer is your friend-crush the pieces of resin into powder-because adding a piece that is too big to the charcoal tends to melt the incense on it and puts the whole thing out. Avoid this!) When it is clear that each station is smoking well, LEAVE THE SPACE. TAKE YOUR HELPERS, CHILDREN AND PETS AND BE GONE FOR 20 MINUTES. This assures safety for you and your loved ones as these energies are clearing out. Let them do all the hard work. Although one round of burning the Dragon's Blood resin is oftentimes enough, sometimes two or three times of repeating steps 6 completely becomes necessary. If you feel any unpleasant feeling anywhere, in any room upon returning, all stations must be prepared to burn another 20 minute round of Dragon's Blood. It is worth the thoroughness. Use your intuition.

7. Return to your space (after the first, second, or third time) and place Frankincense and Myrrh on the same charcoal stations. If you needed to burn more than one round of Dragon's Blood, it might be necessary to add a new lighted charcoal disks to each station. Frankincense and Myrrh smoke brings back the positive energies and higher thoughts. You, your loved ones, and friends may stay during this part of the process.

8. The last step of the ritual is to apply the Three Secrets Reinforcement: Stand in the center of your dwelling and visualize / imagine that the ritual was effective and that good, positive things as well as desires are coming to you easily and effortlessly.

Say out loud: “The Dragon's Blood Space Clearing was extremely effective and my home (office) feels amazing, positive, and supportive.

Note: Never again does such a deep cleaning need to occur in this particular space, but I strongly recommend repeating the Dragon's Blood ritual monthly carrying just one station as you walk from room to room. Again, doors and windows are open to let the negative energies out. Nobody needs to leave during these times as it is clearing you and your loved ones' own personal patterns and energies. Remember always to end with the burning of Frankincense and Myrrh resins. Finally, do the Three Secrets Reinforcement ritual assuring effect.

We Need A Miracle To Sell Our House

We were called by a young woman the other day to come to her home and do a clearing. They were moving from Oregon to California and wanted there house to have nice clean energy to sell quickly. Of course the ultimate goal was for her husband to get a job in Oregon so they could stay.

As always I had my Feng Shui radar on. As we moved to the house it became clear that the house was not easy to find. It was on a hill behind an apartment complex, there was a street sign but at the sign the road y'd. After some confusion we found the house and journeyed up the steep driveway to the front door. The house was built in 1930. The man who built it had 3 lots and the house was perched on top of a hill with a glorious view of downtown Portland and Mt. Hood. The man who built the house fashioned it after a watercolor his grandson had painted and won an award for. They had lived in the house happily for many years. The current own bought the house from an architect who had lived in it for a while but decided to build his dream house on the lot behind this house and to pay for it he built the condos in front of the house. Well the economy hit and his dreams fell through, he inevitably moved into the condo in front of the 1930's house and never let go of that house. His thoughts and desires and ambitious and anger and sadness just permeated the walls of the 1930's house.

Now the new owner had said to me that although they loved this house and put a lot of money into the remodel, it had been a bad luck house for them. Her husband had lost 3 different jobs while in the house and they felt the past owner was unusually involved in what they were doing with the house. After many months of not finding work her husband received a job in San Jose California and had been commuting for a year. She called us because they were packing and ready to leave on July 4th.

As we always do we began by exploring the energies we found. When you walked in the front door there was a very large tingly energy emanating from the neighbors condo. The house felt squished in and claustrophobic. The up stairs bathrooms had some major sadness and we found 2 spirits, an elderly couple who came and went but really bothered no one.

Outside the energy along the condos was very intense. We harmonized the house using Sacred Geometry and earth acupuncture. Inside we released the spirits and began clearing and breaking up the thought forms and old patterns. We found the fire point in the basement and sat a triskel with a candle on it to aid in clearing the energies in the house. The children helped us clear buy using rattles in all of the corners of the house and helping to break u the thought forms. We shifted the energy of the house to expand upward instead of outward so it had room to breath again.

Once we completed the clearing we did an energy clean up on the owner and all of us went outside to put a beacon on the house and set the intention for the sale. The 2 children came outside and helped create the beacon. Then we created an energetic wall between the house and the condos and opened an energy vortex and set a drain to receive any negative energy from the neighbor. The boys placed the earth acupuncture points and we left.

Two days later I received a call. A miracle had happened. They got up on Friday morning and the phone rang, it was a local company her husband had interviewed with months ago. They ask him to come in on Wednesday the 7th for an interview.

We are going over on Monday to work with him energetically and get him ready for the interview.

I will let you know what happens.

HOUSE HARMONIZING:

A. Find the most noxious energy
B. Look for earth energy
C. Look for the subterranean water vein

Energy creates a depression in the electromagnetic field of the earth where the water line or vein is. If you sit on this energy it will have an effect on your body – especially Endocrine glands.

A. When you sit on a subterranean river it effects the adrenal glands and thyroid. This happens to compensate for the stress affected by the water.
B. The other glands are functioning at less energy.
C. This is why we want to look for water underground.
D. When the water circulates in rock they rub against each stone and create electrical micro currents and this causes depression.
E. How do you feel them? The edge of the water is very disturbed.
F. In the middle where the spirals meet we have a cold area.
G. You will feel water in your kidneys, bladder, thyroid or throat. This is your confirmation.
H. You might also have an itchy feeling in your eyes.
I. An intense cold in the kidneys or the feeling you want to urinate.
J. Water charges people very easily. Make sure you take a bath in 2 usefuls of sea-salt for at least 15 min. (The kind of energy we are working with is very contamination. We open ourselves to pathogenic energy so we can feel them.)
K. Trees absorb pathogenic energy.

DRY FAULTS:

Dry faults are an excess of energy created by the rubbing of stones together. They do not have water. This creates a noxious energy. It can be the geopathology of some cancer specifically if the energy is oriented from east to west. The problem is worse with electromagnetic energy interference. Electrical interference can come from:

A. Transformer
B. House uses electricity, the excess goes out the transformer down into the earth and back to the transformer
C. If there is a fault dry or with water the electricity will follow the path odf least resistance back to the transformer.
D. There are to types of faults Wet and dry.
E. Dry faults effect lungs (put your rods at lung level)
F. Dry faults have warm energy with no coolness
G. Keep in mind that a net is reliably straight and a fault fluctuates more like a zig-zag

WET FAULTS:

A. Have dampness or water in them
B. Sometimes in summer they will act like dry faults
C. Rainy season they will act like water veins
D. In intermediate season they have the energy of rotting.
E. Black stream can be caused by fault because there is a whole micro organism life in the faults.
F. This fault is high Telluric energy-when it becomes wet it is Cosmic.
G. Wet faults effect you between the lungs and the throat (around the color bone)
H. You can have a fault and a water vein superimposed on each other. If you look for a fault and find it and look for water and find it ask if they are superimposed.

EXPERIMENT: Put a cup of fruit in the space and it will rot 2-3 times faster than in a normal space.

FIRE POINTS: It is necessary when clearing or balancing a house to find a fire point. This is where the solar net and curry net and cross. These are very noxious points but they can also be wonderful. If they have a fault under them this can create cancer. If solar and curry cross with a subterraneous river or fault and a river the point where they cross is a fire point.

STAR POINT: This is where the Hartman and Curry grids cross or intersect. This is also noxious but is a star point. If this point also has a fault under it this can create cancer.

HARTMAN NET: Electrical Information

SOLAR NET: Electrical and many other kinds of information. The Hartman net is produced by the vibration of the Solar Net as electricity enters it. At that point the vibration of the solar net creates harms, which create the Hartman.

NO Electricity – NO Hartman: Because the Nets are real they are connected to the underground. For the explanation you have to break down the details of the information. This is why it is impossible to say how noxious ones might be until you are on the site. If the Net is very loaded it will be very pathogenic, very quickly. With Solar Nets we have to take into account the shapes.

The culture of China is very old. It is also one of the most complex cultures in the world today. People naturally have many questions about it, especially when it comes to the subject of Asian collectibles and home decor. To provide the help needed to understand the quest for the superior home decor scheme, this writer would like to share some general facts about China's historic culture. In doing so, the interested reader may better understand the factors which have shaped the “Feng Shui” school of thought in home decoration.

First, the area in which this particular East Asian culture is dominant covers a huge geographical region. It is an undisputed fact that customs and traditions vary greatly in this region, especially between towns, cities, and provinces. Chinese is a Sinitic language in a family of languages in East Asia. It is distinguished by its high level of internal distinctions. All varieties of the Chinese language family are tonal and analytic. The official and standard language of the People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Republic of China (Taiwan) is Mandarin. Standard Mandarin is also one of the official languages of Singapore. Cantonese is very influential in Guangdong Province, but it is not the official common language of China. However, Cantonese is one of the official languages of Hong Kong (along with English) and also of Macau.

In addition, today there are 57 different recognized ethnic groups in China. The pre-eminent grouping is recognized to be the Han Chinese. One must understand that through China's history many people groups have been assimilated into other ethnicities, especially neighboring ones. Others simply disappeared without any trace left behind. Therefore, many people within the Han identification have maintained distinct linguistic and regional cultural traditions. The term “Zhongua Minzu” has been used to describe the idea of Chinese nationalism. This was necessary when so many ethnic groups all merged into the “new China” reality which we know today.

Since the time period of the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, some form of ruler has been the primary authority above all others in China. It is true that different periods of history have unique names for the various positions within this particular Asian society. However, the Chinese have almost universally understood that a strong central ruler is necessary because of the great diversity within their society. Most social values originate with either Confucianism or Taoism. It is no secret that the subject of which school has been most influential is always debated. Concepts such as Neo-Confucianism, Buddhism, and many other topics have surfaced in such debts as these. The teaching of Reincarnation is really a reminder to the Chinese of the connection between this life and the “so-called” next life. It should be noted that the business culture has been shaped by these ideas as well. In business the concept of “guanxi” has been very well established for some time. Guanxi teachers that relationships should take precedence over mere regulations as a general rule.

Chinese religion was originally devoted to worshiping the supreme god “Shang Di.” This mainly occurred during the Xia and Shang dynasties. The emperor and diviners acted as believers in this primitive religion. The Zhou dynasty changed this religion to worshiping the brave concept of “heaven.” Therefore, a great part of Chinese culture is based on the idea that a spiritual world does exist. Countless methods of this form of division have helped to answer the questions people. In fact, they have even served as an alternative to medicine. Folklores have aided in filling in the gap for things and / or events which could not be fully explained. For all these reasons, there tend to be a dim line between that which is myth, religion, or unexplained phenomenon. Therefore, many deities of China are part and parcel of the traditions which go back in time a very long ways. Some of the most recognized holy figures would include Guan Yin, Jade Emperor, and Buddha. It is interesting that many of the old stories and myths have evolved over time into traditional Chinese holidays!

Since the Feng Shui method of home decor is devoted to the placement of objects in a particular area, these facts about China's fascination with different emperors, deities, historical figures, and the myths relating to them suggest good reasons for the Feng Shui scheme. If one chooses to adopt the Chinese school for home decoration, it would be a good idea to learn more about China's history and unique traditions. Doing so may enlarge your vision and better educate your mind on this important subject. After all, choosing this decor scheme would really suggest to others that you are sympathetic with a “Chinese” identification. Good luck in your pursuit of this decor strategy!

If you want to learn about Feng Shui living room arrangement, then you are on the right page. In this article, you will learn some ideas on how to apply Feng Shui in order to make your life better. It is said that with the right colors and proper arrangement, you can add more amounts of good energy to your house. In this case, I am going to talk know about Feng Shui living room arrangement because I believe that you should spend more of your time in the living room.

Let's get started. First, I want you to imagine that the good energy is circulating through the air. So, it is your job to properly arrange things in your living room in order to get that good energy as mentioned.

You should pay attention on how your things are placed in that room, such as, TV, computer, table, chair, or sofa. If the room looks messy, then you should try to take care of it because it is not possible for the good energy to be in the messy room like this. In addition, seats should be arranged by facing towards the doorway or entrance of the room.

Moreover, if you want the good energy to be in the room, brightness and clarity are the key to achieve what you want. This is considered to be one of the tips for Feng Shui living room arrangement. If you do not know where to start, then studio lamps, candles, mirrors, or even some potted plants should be added in the room in order to attract the good energy.

If you have a back door and you can see it when you are at the living room entrance, then you should try to find something to block its presence. Screen cover or mirrors is recommended. Why should you do this? It is because you do not want your luck or your money to flow out of your house from that back door.

Feng Shui living room arrangement should have done not only to bring the good energy to your house, but to also keep it in order to make your life better and happier as well.

According to feng shui 2011, on 4th February, the Rabbit officially took over as the ruling zodiac haul till dragon takes over on 4th February 2012. When the Rabbit took over, the 9 annual celestial stars also move to their new palace. In their new positions, does it spell disasters and scandals?

To understand the globular outlook based on flying stars feng shui 2011, we need to look at how the annual stars interact with the stars from period 8. Generally speaking, while disasters and scandals are usually caused by unlucky stars, a lucky star interacting with unlucky star can bring bad fortune too. It's actually more complicated than that. And to keep things simple, I'll just discuss flying stars feng shui 2011 without going into too much feng shui principles. Let's dive in.

Also known as the star of major sickness, the 5 Fearsome Yellow Star goes East in the year of the Rabbit. Even though its energy is weakened by the metal energy of the 6 Heavenly White Star from period 8, it does not mean that we should ignore its presence. If you are living in Japan, Korea and west coast of America, you should take extra care of your health and wellness. You can get emotionally disturbed easily and you are more prone to illness related to the lung, throat and respiratory system. You are also more likely to sustain lower limbs injury.

In the South, the star of minor sickness occupations this position. Also known as the 2 Illness Black Star, this is another unlucky star you should pay close attention to. Its meeting with the 3 Argumentative Jade Star from period 8 intensifies arguments, disputes and conflicts in countries in Southern Asia specifically in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam.

Over in Southeast, the 6 Heavenly White Star clashes with the 7 Red Star creating a metal-metal conflict. What this means according to feng shui 2011 is that this increases the number of industrial accidents particularly in manufacturing industries. Pay attention if you are living in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Australia. These countries are more likely to witness the effect of this clash.

In the Southwest, the 4 Achievement Green Star meets the 5 Fearsome Yellow Star from Period 8. This Wood-Earth meeting created land instability leading to land slides and earthquakes in Southwest Asia.

Let's take a look at the 4 Pillar of Destiny. With more relationshipships stars, there would be comparatively more affairs and sex scandals globally this year. My point for providing you the bad side of 2011 is not to create pessimism in our world. On the contrary, it is to create optimism. That's the real purpose of this article on feng shui 2011. Because by knowing what's bad, you can take precautionary measures to eliminate or lessen their effects, is not it? But how?

This is the year of Rabbit according to feng shui 2011. With the Rabbit hiring in on 4th Feb 2011, where exactly does it hide the money in your unit? Where are the other lucky spots? Let's find out using flying star feng shui principles.

Northwest (Home of 8 Auspicious Wealth Star)
The year of Rabbit kicks off with the strongest wealth star moving to the NW sector. This year, this star gets a tremendous boost from the 9 Multiplying Purple Star.

This star can boost your overall wealth luck regardless of the type of wealth you are seeking. And because of its favorable position, you should tap into its energy for better wealth luck this year.

Northeast (Home of 1 White Star)
The star of relationship moves NE this year based on feng shui 2011 calculation. This is the spot you should pay attention to if you are seeking a soul mate or improvement to your human relationship. If your job requires frequent social contacts, like those in customer service, sales and marketing, you should activate and boost the energy of this star to help your.

Southwest (Home of 4 Achievement Green Star)
According to flying stars feng shui 2011, the star for intellectual achievement moves to this sector. This is the star for career, business and academic success. If you want progress in these areas, be sure to activate and boost the energy of this star. It will enhance the luck of business owners, students, schools and those wanting to move up the corporate ladder.

Southeast (Home of 6 Heavenly White Star)
I like to think of this star as the twin brother of the 4 Achievement Green Star. In ancient China, this was the wealth and good luck star for the military generals. In current days, it is the lucky star for those in clinical organization and blue-collar workers. So policemen, military personnel, technicians, maintenance and construction workers can benefit from its energy. Activate and boost its energy to get more support and help in work and increase your chance of getting a promotion.

West (Home of 9 Multiplying Purple Star)
The 9 Multiplying Purple Star is also known as the star of happy occasions. In flying stars feng shui 2011 calculation, this star moves west. If you're taking moving your relationship to the next level, or if you are planning of having a baby, activating and boosting the energy of this star can help.

And that's not all. This star can bring job opportunities, salary raise or promotion if you know how to harness its energy correctly.

What I'm going to say next is a true story that happened recently. I've 2 friends who were unhappy. The husband was frustrated working with his previous boss, while the wife was out of job for almost 2 years. Once they learned how to activate the energy of this star, within 2 months, they landed themselves a new job.

But how can you activate and boost the energy of these wealth and lucky stars? By placing feng shui enhancers in strategic position based on feng shui 2011 stars' movement.

In office feng shui , there are many things that a person must be mindful of in order to create a workspace that is harmonious and that joins wealth. By browsing the web, you can learn about A TON of different strategies to use that can help improve your office using feng shui . I'm here today to give you some quick guidelines and principles that you can immediately use to transform your office into a workplace that will attract wealth, prosperity and happiness.

1. Cleanliness

If any of you guys read my blog, you'll see that I am a huge proponent of decluttering your office first before you do anything else to change your office. By clearing away things you do not need you'll find out what you DO need, and you'll give your office room to breathe (actually, it's to let chi circulate freely). This is a cruel step and should be done regularly to ensure that your office does not get overwhelmed with clutter and messiness. Neat and clean are the operative words.

Now, once you have a base you can work with concern feng shui, you can start to implement these other principals to weed out the necessities.

2. Function

What is the purpose of the items in your office? How often do you really use that modern art pencil sharpener your aunt cave to you? If the answer is not much, then you should probably remove it from your office (either thow it away, give it away, or bring it home). Every item in your office should serve a function, either decorative and colorful (to augment chi, check out my blog for more info on this), functionally (your computer to write documents), or in some wat benefit your office environment. If it fits one of these criteria, it should be kept, otherwise, disposed of.

3. Comfort

Above all physical sensations your office should be comfortable. You need to make sure that when you work in your office that you feel comfortable, at home, and ready to work. This can be done using utilizing objects such as comfortable (and ergonomic) chairs, desks, keyboards etc. Or by using pleasing feng shui colors that will excite chi.

4. Space and Arrangement

Space is one of the most vital (if not the most vital) parts of any feng shui office and it must be implemented generously and tactfully. Windows heighten the feeling of space, along with paintings, and actual space. One of the easiest way to get space is to rearrange your office equipment so that space is a priority. Keeping space in mind while designing your office is a must.

Feng Shui 2011 – Where Are the Dark Energies in Your House?

In the year of the rabbit which truly begins on 4th February 2011, the 9 celestial stars fly to their new palace. According to feng shui 2011, the 4 unlucky stars unfortunately 2 Illness Black Star, 3 Argumentative Jade Star, 5 Fearsome Yellow Star and 7 Red Star move to occupy the south, north, east and central palace respectively.

Central (Palace for the 7 Red Star)

While the 7 Red Star was the strongest wealth star in Period 7, it has lost its wealth energy. Now it is considered a negative star. In the central palace, this star interacts productively with the 8 Auspicious Wealth Star of period 8. This leads more more official politics, bickering and unpleantness at home and in office. The good thing is, its occupancy in the central palace helps to contain and reduce the damages it brings.

East (Palace for the 5 Fearsome Yellow Star)

According to flying stars feng shui 2011, the star of major sickness occupations this palace in the year of rabbit. While its energy is slowly weakened by the 6 Heavenly White Star of Period 8, it is still a dangerous star. You should use a powerful cure to weak the dark energy of this star.

Anyone affected by this star:

  • Get emotionally unstable easily
  • Are prone to illness related to the lung, throat and respiratory system
  • They are likely to sustain injury in the lower limbs

South (Palace for the 2 Illness Black Star)

Another star you should take note of is the star of minor sickness. This star meets the 3 Argumentative Jade Star from period 8 according to feng shui 2011 calculation. This meeting intensifies arguments, disputes and conflicts. Those infected by its dark energy may also suffer from eye injury or heart problem.

North (Palace for the 3 Argumentative Jade Star)

Moving north, the 3 Argumentative Jade Star meets the 4 Achievement Green Star of Period 8. Where the 3 Argumentative Jade Star goes, it creates quarrels, confrontations and conflicts. This year, the water energy from Kan Trigram amplifies the energy of this star so those afflicted by the 3 Argumentative Jade Star tend to get themselves in conflicts in conflicts more often comparatively. The meeting between the 2 wood elements also means that the intellectuals are more likely to get afflicted by this star.

Grand Duke and 3 Killings

This year, Grand Duke sits in the East while the 3 Killings sit in the West. You are advised to keep both sectors quiet. Avoid renovating these 2 sections so as not to get affected by the dark energy. This is just one of the ways to less the affliction of Grand Duke and 3 Killings. In fact there are ways to weakened these dark energies with suitable feng shui cures placed strategically in different part of your house.

– Grand Duke (Tai Sui)

– 5 Yellow

– 3 Killings

– Sui Po

– Illness Star 2

This year we have 2 conflicting elements – Wood & Metal. According to the destructive cycle of Feng Shui, we know that both of the elements are against the productive cycle therefore we will likely to witness problems within the financial sectors in global businesses investments as well as those in the property sectors. There will likely be forest fires, flooding and earthquakes to be seen around the world.

Grand Duke (Tai Sui) is now residing in the East corner at 82.5 – 97.5 degrees. This sector is best to leave it as quiet as possible if you can. Therefore, never do any renovation, digging and having loud noises in this area otherwise you may possibly face with lawsuit, financial losses, gossips, illness, accidents and even death. For this year, it will be best if you sit with your back facing Tai Sui as this will allow the Grand Duke to support you instead. Never at any instances that you have yourself facing Tai Sui direction or else you will have to answer the consequences of family quarrels, gossiping, breakup and violent arguments. It is wise to leave this sector alone and quiet if you do not want any bad things to happen for this year.

5 Yellow is residing in 67.5 – 112.5 degrees at the East sector (same sector as the Tai Sui). Both Tai Sui and 5 Yellow has the same bad influences, therefore it is always advisable to leave it alone if you can. So, try as far as possible not to have any renovation, digging, hammering or noisy activities in the East sector. Otherwise you will likely have to answer to the consequences of illness, accidents, gossiping, family disturbance and fatal death. Just leave this sector alone for your family's sake.

3 Killings is staying in the West sector. To avoid backstabbing by friends, colleagues or business partners never sit with your back facing the west instead you should be facing West as you will be granted the support from Tai Sui and also avoid having being backstabbed by friends or colleges this 2011.

Sui Po is also known as the year breaker that is occupying 262.5 – 277.5 degrees at the West sector (same as the 3 Killings). This sector is also best to be left alone without doing any digging, hammering or renovations as it can be health issue if you are not careful. If work is needed to be done in this sector, then using 6 rods metal windchime can help to reduce the bad influence during your work period.

Illness Star 2 is now staying at South and this will affect those who are using it as bedroom for sleeping. If you can avoid using this room for sleeping, then it will be best to avoid since it will affect your health. If you really have no choice then you will need to do all the necessary cures to help you reduce the effect of the bad effects.

Hope you have preparation on Feng Shui Cures with Flying Stars 9 Grid formation for homes.

Feng Shui and Pre-Spring Clutter Clearing

I never thought I would be so excited to see a brown lawn.

On the East Coast the snow is finally melted and there is but a hint of spring in the air. With morning birds chirping and daffodils sprouting tiny buds, I am so ready to trade in my fleece gloves for gardening gloves!

Give me just that little extra bit of daylight and I can already feel my energy increasing as we move from the stillness of winter to the growth energy of early spring. All these minor changes are gentle reminders of how much nature affects our behavior.

Feng shui, literally translated as wind and water, is about how we respond to our environments. Imagine energy (or chi) flowing like wind and water in your home. Through this mental exercise, try to identify places where chi might get stuck.

As we transition into spring, it is a perfect time to inventory our homes, clear any blockages, and rid themselves of anything that is no longer needed or useful.

Starting slowly, here are some areas to focus on.

Getting the Skeletons (and clothes, shoes, belt, hats, gloves scarves, even jewelry) Out of the Closet

When sorting through your things, look for anything that you have not worn during the winter season. A general rule of thumb is that if it has not been used in the last year, it's time to go.

Need some motivation? Remind yourself that letting go of old things only opens the space for the new.

Slaying the Paper Tiger
You can do it. Get rid of that daunting pile. I have to tell you, in a typical scenario of the shoemaker's kids having no shoes, a year or so ago I came upon a giant bin of ancient bills and miscellaneous paperwork that was somehow hidden in a far away corner of my attic.

I was amazed to find such cords to the past. It was a trip down memory lane, for sure, and often times not exactly pleasant. But, the joy and liberation I experienced going through hours of shredding every little piece of paper was simply indescribable. It was like I was deleting and rewriting history.

Living by the Book (s)
We all have favorite books that we go back to over and over and continue to learn from. But, beware. Some books have a way of finding a spot and refusing to budge. If you are holding onto too many of them, sometimes you are limiting yourself to the certain belief system they represent Maybe you are too rigid in your thinking, which could prevent you from seeing different perspectives.

Keep the ones that you use and recycle / give away the others. Keep in mind, there's always the library. Separation anxiety? Go visit them.

Food for Thought
When was the last time you walked through your pantry, kitchen cabinets or refrigerator? If you happen to have a weak moment at a can-can sale, make a much needed donation to your local food bank. Also, check use-by dates on all that stuff hidden in dark places.

While you are at it, take into consideration kitchen gadgets, you know the ones that sounded so fabulous in the infomercials.

Is the Medicine Worse than the Malady?
Toiletries have a way of reproducing themselves. Bathroom closets and medicine cabinets are huge breeding grounds for clutter. This adds stress to a room that is meant to make us feel refreshed. From a health risk aspect, check for expired medicines and makeup that may be outdated.

Again, do not forget the abandoned lotions and potions that did not quite do the trick.

Gear Up For Spring
We've been informed all winter breathing recycled air. As the days become warmer, open the windows and circulate fresh air. This will help to release any stale chi.

As human beings we have a natural affinity to nature. Make it a habit of taking walks. Your body and soul will be grateful. Mother Earth goes through the process of change without resistance. Follow her lead and make the changes necessary to create a space that has free flowing energy.

Use the decluttering approach of feng shui to free your home and mind of useless clutter.

Feng Shui 2011 – More Money Coming Your Way?

Official flying stars feng shui 2011 starts from 4th Feb 2011. That's when the 9 celestial stars move to their new palace. Obviously, you want to know how they will affect you, right? Official flying stars feng shui 2011 starts from 4th Feb 2011. That's when the 9 celestial stars move to their new palace. Obviously, you want to know how they will affect you, right? And most important of all, will it means more cash, more success, and better career luck coming your way?

To begin, we need to look at the 4 pillows of destiny, and how the lucky stars interact with the stars from period 8. Rightfully speaking, to predict which part of the world is going to enjoy more wealth, we should focus on the 5 lucky stars. They are: 1 White Star, 4 Achievement Green Star, 6 Heavenly White Star, 8 Auspicious Wealth Star, 9 Multiplying Purple Star. However, because of their interaction with the stars from Period 8, globally speaking not all lucky stars brings wealth or luck to the direction it goes to. Instead of lengthy explanation, I'll cut right through the chase and present the flying stars feng shui 2011 prediction from the wealth perspective.

Here's what I think of feng shui 2011:

Overall the world economy should enjoy a steady growth this year. In the stock market, the bullish trend will continue toill around June to September before the bears take over. On the other hand, investors are not likely to see huge returns in the property market. Be it stock or property market, my advice is, manage your risk. This is more important than making quick profit.

From the way I look at it, only the Northwest region is likely to see tremendous growth comparable to other regions. The 8 Auspicious Wealth Star is the strongest wealth star all the way till 2024. This star possesses enormous wealth energy and is known to bring money luck to those who activate and boost its energy. This year, the 8 Auspicious Wealth Star meets the 9 Multiplying Purple Star from period 8. Because of their natural productive interaction, the 8 Auspicious Wealth Star gets a tremendous boost from the period 8 star.

If you are hiring for a windfall, a pay increment, and more revenues from your business, this is one of the stars you should tap its energy.

So how to tap the wealth energy of the 8 Auspicious Wealth Star?

One of the ways is to decorate the Northwest sector of your unit with red, pink, purple or brown objects. You can paint this sector of the unit with these colors if your unit needs a fresh coat of paint. From flying stars feng shui 2011 perspective, there are more ways to tap into the energy of this star.
